This conference is designed to allow participants to take information back to their workplaces, classrooms, and e-learning development. Networking among mental health professionals is a large part of our annual conference. Attendees are invited to share information in training practices, rules, regulations, as well as new materials and technology. Also, great food will be provided 🙂
Training, Training Coordinators, And Staff Development Personnel who work in the Michigan Health System, not just Michigan Community Mental Health and Substance Use system, dynamic and interactive presentations of relevant mental health information and ways in which to effectively support training outcomes. Participants will take away vital information to use in their own workplaces and training.

MHAT’s purpose is to promote personal and professional growth of members, focusing on leadership and skill-building in mental health and substance use training and administrative practices, exploring innovative training trends, incorporating principles of recovery, and improving both online and face-to-face training programs delivered to professional and paraprofessional service providers.
MHAT members enjoy networking with other training professionals in Michigan. MHAT holds an annual conference, and has quarterly meetings to support people who are involved in workforce training and development. A wealth of experience is shared between all members.
